The third season of the podcast series “Synthesis”, which looks at “the Catherine Daviault case”, obtained several nominations at the Paris Podcast Festival, which will be held from October 20 to 23.
The QUB radio podcast, hosted by Claudia Larochelle, was nominated in the Amazon Music Audience Award and Francophone Podcast Award categories. In the latter, the project is measured, among other things, by the series “The Village: murders, fights, pride”, from Radio-Canada, as well as Belgian and Senegalese podcasts.
Canada is, this year, the guest country of the French festival. For the occasion, the organizers have invited hosts Victoria Charlton, who hosts the “Post-Mortem” podcast, but who also hosts the program “Évaporés” on VRAI and Gabrielle Caron, to whom we owe “J’ai fait a human”, which resulted in a podcast and a book. They will both take part in events organized by the festival, notably on Canadian “true crime” and motherhood.
For its part, QUB radio will be represented during a panel on the Canadian ecosystem.
It is still possible for the public, until October 22, to vote for “Syntheses – The Catherine Daviault case” in the Amazon Music Audience Award category on the official competition website. The podcast series is in the running along with 39 other projects.
