The 36th edition of the Telethon opened on Friday, December 2, at 6:40 p.m., and will be held until Sunday, with 30 hours of live broadcast on the channels of the France Télévisions group. The pledges amount to 10 million euros, Saturday at 9 a.m., according to the organizers’ website. In 2021, nearly 74 million euros in pledges had been made at the end of the Telethon. How to make a donation ? During the two days of the fundraising operation, the French can make a donation for medical research by calling 3637 or by going to the dedicated Telethon site.
Kev Adams is the sponsor of the 36th edition of the charity marathonwhich will notably be followed live on the France Télévisions channels, for 30 hours of airtime. A “gaming” marathon will be broadcast live on television and on Twitch.
Events in more than 13,000 municipalities. After two years affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, activities and “challenges” sporting, culinary or festive events will be organized across France. In particular, a race at the Stade de France and a concert by Pascal Obispo on the beach of Lège-Cap-Ferret (Gironde) are planned.
