A terrible accident took place in Revel on Tuesday shortly before 8 p.m., at a place called La Rute, south-east of Toulouse. A single-engine plane crashed. The 22-year-old pilot died. He was alone on board, confirmed his aviation club. Twenty firefighters and five vehicles rushed to the scene. They found the victim in cardiopulmonary arrest and attempted to resuscitate him.
According to the first elements of which we became aware, the plane had taken off from Graulhet in the Tarnabout 40 kilometers north of the region, to pick up microlight pilots at Vaure aerodrome located northwest of Revel. This aerodrome is used for the practice of leisure activities and tourism.
