Guillaume Bats died this Thursday, June 1 at the age of 36. The comedian was suffering from brittle bone disease. This news saddened hundreds of people who expressed their sadness on social networks. Very close to the young man, Jérémy Ferrari had published a text the next afternoon to pay tribute to the one he considered to be “his little brother” but also to tell “what happened”.“Since last night, I have received thousands of messages of support and some more or less funny valveshe wrote. Many of you are asking me what happened.” he wrote before going on to say, “He did not answer our calls (he was to give a conference Thursday at 7:30 p.m. to which he did not show up, editor’s note) “I went to his house and found him dead in his bed, probably in his sleep, this remains to be confirmed by the doctors”.
A joke that does not pass
In the latest issue of what time on France 2hosted by Léa Salamé, Saturday June 3, 2023, Philippe Caverivière has a thought for Guillaume Bats in his column at the end of the program. “We still wanted to pay tribute to him. Here we make jokes about everything, about disability, but the boss of discipline, the king of self-mockery was this young man, he will be greatly missed. he let go before sliding: “With Pierre Palmade, it is already the second comedian who leaves us in 2023, a sad year for humor”.
