Pierre Ménès accused of sexual assault: Marie Portolano heard by investigators for hours

It is a case that has caused a lot of talk in the small world of television and more than a year after the start of the scandal, the case continues to make waves. With his documentary I’m not a bitch, I’m a journalist, Mary Portolano highlighted the sexism that can exist in the world of sports journalism. A scene cut from the edit was then revealed to the general public in which the journalist accuses the star of the channel Pierre Menes of sexual assault.

Information that will cause a real scandal and the 58-year-old journalist, after tough negotiations, will be dismissed by Canal + with a very nice check at stake. Since then, an investigation has been opened against the football specialist in this case, which dates back to 2016. According to information from AFP, the investigation made real progress in early April since Marie Portolano, who did not did not file a complaint against Pierre Ménès, was heard. According to their information, I’hearing of actor Grégoire Ludig’s wife would have lasted several hours and it would be interested mainly in the events of 2016.

As a reminder, the 36-year-old journalist accuses Pierre Ménès of lifting her skirt and touching her buttocks during the Canal Football Club show, in which they participated. Two other journalists, Isabelle Moreau and Francesca Antoniotti also testified against the former journalist of The Teamexplaining that he had tried to kiss them by force.

Not the only case against Pierre Ménès

This is not the only case in which Pierre Ménès is involved since at the end of November 2021, he was accused by a hostess of the Parc des Princes of having made inappropriate gestures towards him. Totally denying the facts, the companion of Mélissa Acosta quickly replied, bringing in particular the testimony of a friend present at her side.

More discreet in the media for several months, Pierre Ménès is still not out of business and the investigation against him continues, as just revealed by AFP.

Pierre Ménès remains presumed innocent of the facts of which he is accused until the judgment of this new case.
