Great performance by our Roman from the Total Energies team this Sunday, February 6, 2022 on the 52nd Star of Bessèges. Pierre Latour finished fourth in the general classification of this prestigious race at the end of the fifth and final stage: a time trial of ten and a half kilometers on the heights of Alès in the Gard. Frenchman Benjamin Thomas of the Cofidis team won the Etoile de Bessèges cycling race. Benjamin Thomas won the general classification with a 16 second lead over the Italian Alberto Bettiol and 32 seconds over the Norwegian Tobias Johannessen.
