The candidate admitted to being comfortable with this piece because he had already been able to perform it before, which reassured him for his future performance for the prime.
And while Pierre is already working for the Saturday evening show, viewers for their part expressed their dissatisfaction with this choice of song. Many of them have in fact made it known on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

As a reminder, the singer Lomepal, whose real name is Antoine Valentinelli, was accused of rape during the summer of 2023, leading to the opening of a preliminary investigation opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office. If the complaint dates back to 2020, the facts described by the complainant date back to 2017 and allegedly took place in New York. Very quickly, the 31-year-old singer took the floor to deny the facts with which he is accused. “I learned today from the press that a complaint was filed against me in 2020. I have heard bits and pieces of this story over the years, at the same time as rumors about me grew. I will respond to justice when it questions me, I am calm, I know that the truth will be revealed” he wrote. The singer remains innocent of the charges against him for the moment.
