Three individual houses were destroyed by explosions on Sunday March 19 in Alata and Villanova. Inscriptions “FLNC” and “Gloria à tè Yvan” were found.
Alerted shortly before 10 p.m. this Sunday, March 19 for a house destroyed by an explosion, the Ajaccio firefighters went to the scene, in Alata.
Near the residence and on the road they found rubble and remains of the building blown up by the explosion.
Rescuers also found that two other holiday homes had also been damaged by explosions not followed by fire, in Villanova.
No casualties were reported. Some of these houses under construction belong to people who reside on the mainland.
Tags “FLNC” and “Gloria à tè Yvan” were found. These actions come on the eve of the anniversary date of the death of Yvan Colonna, March 21, 2022.
An investigation was opened by the public prosecutor of Ajaccio and entrusted to the Research Section of the gendarmerie. The National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor’s Office (Pnat) has been notified.
