Perrine Laffont smiled again at the start of 2022. Beautiful weekends in Canada and then in the United States allowed her to forget the fall of Alpe d’Huez. Now it’s time for the Beijing Olympics!
Four podiums in four races
The skier from Monts d’Olmes had won only one World Cup stage in the first five rounds and had “only” been on the podium twice. At Tremblant (a second place and a victory) and at Deer Valley (a victory and a third place), Perrine Laffont has already reassured herself after Alpe d’Huez. She also revived in the general classification of the World Cup. “Pépette” now has 24 World Cup victories.
Rest… and protect yourself from the Covid!
Before leaving for China at the end of January, Perrine Laffont will take the time to rest at her home in Annecy, and of course train in the Alps. Also with a priority: protect yourself as much as possible from Covid-19 contamination by avoiding outside contact as much as possible.
Perrine Laffont is expected Sunday February 6 on the track to get another Olympic medal.
