European teenagers of the 2000s knew him singing and dancing alongside the other members ofe S Club 7. Paul Cattermole died at the age of 46, the British group announced on social networks on Friday April 7.
In a statement, his family said he died Thursday at his home in the county of Dorset, in the south of England, reports the Guardian. The causes of his death have not been revealed, adds the British daily.
S Club 7, made up of seven members, had had several successes in the United Kingdom and around the world with the titles Don’t Stop Movin’ And Bring It All Back. The group was formed in 1998 by Simon Fuller, the man who started the Spice Girls. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the band was planning a new tour next fall.
“There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and we are grateful for the incredible memories we have,” wrote the group on Twitter. “He will be so missed by all of us.”
