Since July 15, to get to Luxembourg, cross-border commuters have used the train to Bettembourg and then substitute buses. Since this Monday morning and until September 10, the last part of the trip is now done in a second train..
Moselle residents taking line 90, that of the Lorraine furrow, will still stop in Bettembourg, and then use the line 60 trains, coming from Rodange, to reach the capital.
The Luxembourg Railways estimate that the duration of the journey will be extended by a quarter of an hour on average. The CFL advise travelers to watch their connections carefully, to avoid too much waiting at Bettembourg station.
For its part, the association of TER Metz-Luxembourg travelers hopes that the trains on Line 60 will not be too crowded and that any delays on the French or Luxembourg section will not complicate the daily journeys of Moselle border residents.
