In an updated version this Friday evening of its “Frequently Asked Questions” on its website, the Ministry of National Education explains that meetings between parents of students and teachers are “strongly discouraged”, given the current circulation of Covid-19.

“Meetings with the parents of students, even organized according to an appointment-making system, lead to a significant mixing of people and raise the question of respecting physical distancing. They are therefore strongly discouraged”, explains the ministry.

The ministry adds that “moments of conviviality between students and staff or between staff must now be prohibited”, because they “do not allow continuous compliance with barrier gestures. “

The ministry also recommends “postpone school outings including activities in closed spaces (theater, museum, cinema, etc.)”, while “those taking place in the open air (forest walk, orienteering …) can naturally be maintained.”

Finally, it is advisable to “postpone school trips as far as possible.”
