A tragic death. On the night of November 18 to 19, 2023, a tragedy affected the French commune of Crépol in Drome. Indeed, Thomas, a 16-year-old rugby player, was stabbed to death during a fight during a municipal ball. Those responsible would be young people from a neighboring city: La Monnaie.
Since this tragedy, numerous racist acts have been recorded, as noted by our colleagues at BFMTV
. Starting with “ratonnades”, punitive expeditions or brutalities carried out against North Africans, launched by members of the ultra-right almost everywhere in France. In addition to these “demonstrations” which shocked many French people, a tag written on a bridge before the Annecy North toll caused even more outrage. “Arabs: Outside”is it possible to read on said bridge and still has not been removed.
FLASH | A tag “Arabs: Outside”, visible a little before the toll#Annecy North, has still not been removed after several days. A witness declared that there were at least 20 people who reported it to the motorway services. pic.twitter.com/KIhi6UKdiZ

Arthur discovers a horrible tag and gives a huge rant
However, according to
the X account, formerly Twitter, Cerfia
a witness stated that they were “at least 20 people reported it to the motorway services”, but still has not been removed. The inscription went around the Internet and outraged many Internet users, starting with the host Arthur. The one who recently cropped Yannick Noah expressed his anger upon discovering this horrible message.
“Outrageous, unacceptable, sickening. Is our country losing its bearings?”, he lamented on his Instagram account. As the tag has still not been deleted, individuals have modified it to write “Long live the Arabs”as we can discover in another photo published by the Cerfia account. Account “contacted the relevant department” that he was going “be removed, but don’t know when”.
