This weekend, some forty regions of Quebec were in operation to welcome 1,850 volunteers.

In the Quebec-Lévis sector, 187 citizens, or 84 on Friday and 103 on Saturday, requested transportation to return home.

Teams were also in action in Saguenay, Alma and Dolbeau-Mistassini for a total of 179 rides.

In Beauce-Etchemins, field volunteers carried out 31 transports over two evenings.

In the greater Quebec City region, service will resume this Thursday.

The 39e edition of Operation Red Nose under the theme “You could do without it” continues until December 31.

Recall that in 2020, the leaders of Opérations Nez rouge were forced to cancel its drive-through campaign. Last year, after a few days of activity, Red Nose also had to end its services due to the increase in cases of Covid-19.
