OpenAI presents Sora, a new tool for generating videos from simple text

The American company specializing in artificial intelligence, OpenAI, presented, on Thursday February 15, a new tool, Sora, allowing the generation of videos from a simple text. On X (formerly Twitter), OpenAI published several videos created by this new tool. The latter, lasting a maximum of 60 seconds, can contain several characters, camera movements, detailed scenes and emotions.

The OpenAI company made itself known with generative artificial intelligence technology ChatGPT. The tool arouses a lot of enthusiasm, but also controversy, since it is freely accessible and used by millions of people around the world to write dissertations, lines of code, scenarios or even simply to test its abilities.
