Health authorities reported on Monday only one additional death attributed to COVID-19 that occurred in the past 24 hours. Quebec also officially has 633 new cases of COVID-19.
A total of 3,751 healthcare workers absent for COVID-related reasons, such as preventive withdrawal or isolation.
Since the start of the pandemic, 1,170,654 infections have been reported, and 16,223 of them have been fatal.
Hospitalizations are no longer counted on weekends, following a change in methodology by the Ministry of Health.
