A serious train accident took place on Monday in Austria, in Muenchendorf, south of Vienna. One person was killed and thirteen were injured, two of them seriously, Austrian news agency APA reported.
“According to the latest information, there are many injured, several rescue helicopters and a large contingent of rescuers are mobilized”, write the Lower Austrian emergency services on Facebook.
According to the APA, a car tipped over when the train derailed. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
