The women’s peloton will experience the Hell of the North, Saturday April 8, on the occasion of the third edition of Paris-Roubaix. Departing from Denain, the route will extend over 145.4 kilometers to the mythical Roubaix velodrome, with 29.2 kilometers of cobblestones spread over 17 sectors. If the Trouée d’Arenberg will not be used, the famous cobbled sections of Mons-en-Pévèle and the Carrefour de l’Arbre will be on the program.

While the course has been toughened this year due to changes in the globally, one name stands out from the world peloton: Lotte Kopecky (Team SD Worx). The Belgian, already victorious in three Classics this year (Omloop, Nokere Koerse and the Tour of Flanders), will have all eyes on her. But’Italian Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek-Segafredo), third on the Ronde, intends to play the spoilsports to retain her title on Paris-Roubaix.

On the French side, the Bretons Aude Biannic (Movistar), Amandine Fouquenet (Arkéa-Samsic) as well as Victoire Berteau (Cofidis) will be at the start to dream, why not, of a victory at home. The race will be broadcast live on France 3 and on france.tv.
