No longer supporting the Olsen sisters, John Stamos has them fired from a set: “Get them out!”

In the child stars category, we ask, the Olsen sisters. Mary-Kate and Ashley kicked off their careers at just 11 months old when they took turns playing Michelle Tanner on the sitcom The house party. For eight years, they will make the heyday of the series before sailing towards other horizons. Dream beginnings that could have had another trajectory.

John Stamos, one of the main characters, almost became the grain of sand that jams the machine. “Did you try to get the Olsen twins fired?” she was asked during her appearance on the Good Guys podcast. “I did it”confirmed the former interpreter of Jesse Katsopolis. “I didn’t try, I did.”

The 59-year-old comedian went into detail: “There was one time we were shooting this scene with Dave Coulier (Joey). We were changing the baby…Danny (Bob Saget) was leaving leaving us to take care of the kids. You know the genre. So, we take the baby in our arms, we take him down to the kitchen, we give him a bottle… But she was screaming. The two were actually screaming, taking turns. They wanted to be everywhere else but here. And me too cut !” The star went on to say: “They were 11 months old and the producers kept inverting the two babies saying this one wasn’t going to cry. I couldn’t face it honestly. So I said it wasn’t okay. I yelled it ten times. ‘It’s not going to do it’, then I yelled, ‘Get them off! I can’t work like this’ And then they got rid of them.”

Two new red-haired girls have taken the place of the twins: “I’m sure their parents loved them and thought they were pretty…. It had nothing to do with them having redheads, but they weren’t cute enough actually…” But after a few days of filming, John Stamos changed his mind again: “Bring the Olsens back! Those kids suck!” We tried and it just didn’t work.”

Finally Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have successfully integrated the series!
