Several women accused Nicolas Hulot of sexual assault, in the special Envoy program broadcast Thursday, November 25. Since then, other written testimonies have been added to these accusations. The Minister of Justice had specified that the prescription of the facts, a source of debate, does not prevent the prosecution from carrying out investigations.

Maureen Golden, TV host, decided to break the silence after hearing accusations from other women. She also accuses Nicolas Hulot for having sexually assaulted him. She was 18 at the time of the incident. “He jumped on me and tried to kiss me”, she says. A former TF1 employee describes a sexual assault in a car. These two new testimonies are added to those of the four women, broadcast Thursday November 25 in the show Envivé special on France 2.

The Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office has decided to open an investigation into “rape and sexual assault”, Friday November 26, which will have to determine in particular whether the facts are prescribed. Prescription is often at the heart of these cases. The law changed in 2018. For rape on adult, the limitation period has been increased from 10 to 20 years from the facts and for minors, she was lengthened from 20 to 30 years from the age of majority of the victim.
