Nice deploys the Task Force

When you walk through the neighborhoods of Nice and ask the question whether the city is clean, you often get a negative or at least mixed answer. However, the municipality is not sparing its efforts. The municipality has even created the “Task Force”. A set of tools and services that work towards the same objective: the cleanliness of the city. In this Task Force you have for example the LAC (Fight against attacks on the living environment); actually a brigade of 18 municipal police officers who are called in emergency on illegal deposits (trash cans on the ground, furniture, rubble, etc.) and who try to find the culprit by carrying out a small investigation. There is also the FRAP. It is the cleaning agents who take away this waste.

3555 verbalizations since the beginning of the year

The Task Force is also a tool. Cameras that can warn and verbalize when they film someone dumping waste on public property. It is also agreements made with the public prosecutor to simplify and speed up legal procedures. It is also a switchboard that anyone can call to report a wild dump in the middle of town or in a valley. To do this, you have to go through Hello Town Hall at 3906. Finally, the Task Force is also numbers. Since the beginning of the year, 3,555 reports have been drawn up, including 2,277 for illegal dumping, 948 for obstruction of the public highway and 330 for littering. Finally, note that 87 offenders were fined thanks to the cameras of the urban supervision center of the city.
