What about the price of real estate in the provinces? A specialized site reveals the prices of the most expensive streets in the ten largest cities in France. It’s in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) prices are the highest, with avenue Jean Lorrain on the seafront, at more than 9,000 euros per square meter.

From the terrace, the view of the Mediterranean is breathtaking. Philippe Colin and his wife are the happy owners of a 180 m² house. “I didn’t even go in the house, I said I’ll take it, just on the view. I wanted to be closer to the sea”, says Philippe Colin. Built in 1920, the villa has been completely renovated, for a total price of three million euros.

This is a sum that does not surprise anyone here, because the house is located on Avenue Jean Lorrain, one of the most expensive streets in France, at more than 9,000 euros per square meter. The website Best agents has established a ranking of the most expensive arteries. Behind the chic streets of Paris, we find Nice, from sixth to tenth place, all located in the district of Mont Boron. Prices will continue to soar with an international clientele returning to the Côte d’Azur.
