A person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press on Tuesday the league is reviewing Adams’ actions after the 30-29 loss to the Chiefs, and possible penalties include a fine or suspension. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the league has not made the review public.

NFL Network first reported that Adams could face disciplinary action.

Detectives from the Kansas City Police Assault Unit are investigating the incident and will work with prosecutors to determine if charges are warranted, spokesman Sergeant Jake Becchina said Tuesday.

He did not reveal a timetable for the sequel, except that it could take more than two days.

Leaving the field, Adams pushed what appeared to be a member of the film crew to the ground as he headed down the Arrowhead Stadium tunnel to the locker room.

Becchina said the photographer went to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Adams apologized in his postgame comments to the media and later on Twitter.

“He appeared in front of me coming out of the field. I kind of pushed him. He ended up on the ground, Adams said after the game. I want to apologize to him for that. It was just frustration mixed with the fact that he jumped in front of me.

“I shouldn’t have reacted that way, but that’s how I reacted. I want to apologize to him for that. »

Adams had 29 catches for 414 yards and 5 touchdowns through 5 games in his first season with the Raiders.
