PSG announced, Monday, October 29, in its medical report, that Neymar would be absent for 6 to 8 weeks due to of a sprained left ankle with ligament damage.

The Brazilian twisted his ankle on Sunday in Saint-Etienne, leaning on the leg of Yvann Maçon, who was trying to tackle him. He had left the stadium on a crutch, with a splint.

Neymar will miss several shocks in Ligue 1, including the one against Nice on Wednesday, but also the meetings against Lens, Monaco, Lorient, Lyon, Brest and Reims. His presence for the knockout stages of the Champions League, however, is not compromised (February 15 to 23).

In the rest of his medical point, PSG announces that Marco Verratti has resumed training on Monday, that Mauro Icardi, Georginio Wijnaldum and Ander Herrera will resume training during the week, and that Julian Draxler continues his care.
