Tornadoes by the dozens

For the past week, the United States has been facing dozens of tornadoes. Last weekend in Iowa, gusts pulverized hangars. A violent episode but not unprecedented. “In general, tornado season runs from March to June. Tornadoes are concentrated over just a few days. We sometimes have 300 tornadoes on a single day”explains Pierre Huat, forecaster at Weather Solutions.
