In Haute-Corse, 5,400 people “hosted in the most exposed campsites (Calvi, Calenzana, Aregno, Algajola, Corbara and Monticello) have been made safe”, according to the prefecture. Orange vigilance in Corsica is in effect until 9 a.m.

06:46 : The two Corsican departments remain on orange alert to thunderstorms, rain and floods. “Active thunderstorms are still forming at sea, explains Meteo France.
