New series on Crave | Sonia Cordeau and Virginie Fortin on a yoga retreat

Sonia Cordeau and Virginie Fortin will play two false friends on a yoga retreat in Breathe in breathe outa new comedy-drama for Crave.


Original idea by Sonia Cordeau (who is also writing the screenplay), Jean-François Chagnon and Katherine Levac, the 10-episode series will also star Edith Cochrane, Steve Laplante, Marc Labrèche, Alice Pascual, Katherine Levac, Isabelle Vincent, Linda Malo , Étienne Lou, Gary Boudreault, Pierre Brassard and Jean-François Provençal. Jean-Francois Chagnon (Leo, like me) ensures the realization.

According to a press release from Crave, the series will tell the story of Sophie (Sonia Cordeau) and Vicky (Virginie Fortin), two thirtysomethings who have nothing in common, except their group of friends and their date of birth. For their birthday, they receive a certificate for a yoga retreat of a few days in the middle of nature, during which they will have to share the same cabin. Their forced healing will take an unexpected turn when the corpse of a participant is found in the forest. Obliged to stay put during the police investigation, they will have to unite their efforts to identify the assassin and save themselves.

Produced by Avanti-Toast in collaboration with Bell Media, Breathe in breathe out will land on Crave next fall. Filming has just started.
