The political calendar has accelerated. Sunday December 5 took place the first big meeting of Eric Zemmour. After the announcement of his candidacy, he called on his supporters to find him in Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis). They were several thousand to attend.

For his first meeting as a candidate in Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis), Éric Zemmour wanted to give a demonstration. Forget the difficult first days of the campaign and try to don the presidential costume. The rally also allowed the candidate to unveil the name of his party, “Reconquest”. “The reconquest of our economy is now launched, the reconquest of our security, our identity, our sovereignty and our country”, he declared.

At the platform, officials of the conservative right and one of the former figures of the yellow vests, Jacline Mouraud, supported the candidate. In the ranks, disappointed supporters of the Republicans and Marine Le Pen. The meeting was marked by accidents, in particular the attack on SOS Racism activists. In all, 13,000 people attended this meeting according to the organizers, less than the 19,000 hoped for in the middle of the week.
