(Saint-Ferréol-Les-Neiges) A motorcyclist lost his life on Saturday in Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, in the Capitale-Nationale region.
The exact circumstances surrounding his exit from the road, around 2 a.m., on Avenue Royale, are still unclear.
” Unfortunately yes. It is a man in his forties who lost his life in a collision last night when his motorcycle hit a Hydro-Quebec pole in Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, near Quebec, “confirmed Sergeant Éric Cadotte , spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
No one else was involved in this swerve, where alcohol could be involved.
“There are specialized investigators who have been dispatched to the scene to determine the causes and circumstances of the collision. There are also samples that have been taken to determine if alcohol could have played a role in this case,” said Sergeant Cadotte.
The identity of the victim was not immediately revealed.
The SQ investigation is continuing.
