A mother of two from Johnson County, Kansas, was killed in a shooting at the end of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade on Wednesday.

Authorities have so far only confirmed one death in the shooting. It is impossible to know if Lisa Lopez-Galvan is this person, or if her death adds to the toll.
Friends confirmed Ms. Lopez-Galvan’s death to the Kansas City Star newspaper after speaking to the family.
Ms. Lopez-Galvan reportedly died during surgery at the hospital from a gunshot wound to the abdomen on Wednesday afternoon.
“She was the most wonderful, beautiful person ever,” a longtime friend told the Kansas City Star.
“She was a local DJ. She organized everyone’s weddings. We all know her. She was full of life,” added this same friend.
