Around 7:55 p.m., officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) were called to intervene for shots fired at the corner of Saint-Antoine Ouest and de la Montagne streets, opposite the Bell Center .

After research, they ended up locating the victims’ car in front of the George-Vanier metro station, at the corner of Saint-Antoine and George-Vanier streets.

Of the two victims, both in their twenties, one was dead and the other seriously injured.

According to the first information available, at least one person in a moving vehicle opened fire on theirs. The two men would then have fled at the wheel before stopping a little further.

A little later, the police spotted a third victim, also in critical condition. It is unclear at this time if she fell victim to the same attackers.

A police perimeter has been set up on rue Saint-Antoine Ouest between rue Peel and rue George-Vanier.

More details to come.
