The Montreal Police Service (SPVM) arrested Logan Swen Krassilowsky, 24, and Abdoul Aziz Toure, 37, on Tuesday after a major investigation.
According to the SPVM, the alleged thieves broke into a residence after ensuring that its occupants were absent. The duo are said to have committed at least eight burglaries this way.
During searches carried out at the home and in the vehicle of the suspects, the investigators discovered an imposing loot: luxury watches, valuable jewelry and the sum of approximately $20,000 in cash.
The two individuals, who appeared Wednesday at the Montreal courthouse, face charges of breaking and entering and possession of property obtained by crime. They will remain detained until the next stage of the judicial process.
