Montreal | Shots fired in the Saint-Michel district: no injuries

Another shooting in a residential area of ​​Montreal occurred, this time at the very beginning of the night, Thursday, in the northeast of the city.

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) reports that a person who contacted the 911 emergency center around 12:30 a.m. mentioned that about half an hour earlier, shots had sounded on 24 Avenue, near the intersection of rue Villeray, in the Saint-Michel district.

When they arrived at the scene, SPVM police officers found neither victim nor suspect, but they observed at least one firearm projectile impact on a residential building.

SPVM investigators began their search for clues, along with forensic identification technicians and members of the canine squad.

Investigators are investigating the possibility that the projectiles were fired by a person who was riding in a moving vehicle.
