Montreal: obstacles on the roads during the weekend

Obstructions may complicate traffic on certain axes of the highway network, particularly in Montreal and Brossard, during the weekend.

Route 136 eastbound will be completely closed between the Turcot interchange and the entrances to Notre-Dame and de la Cathédrale streets, from Saturday midnight to Monday 5 a.m.

In the Saint-Pierre interchange, Mobility Montreal plans to completely close the ramp leading from Route 138 to Autoroute 20 westbound, during the same period.

In Brossard, Route 132 will be completely closed in both directions under the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, from Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

This closure is due to the deconstruction work of the old Champlain Bridge, according to Mobility Montreal, which also provides for the closure of Marie-Victorin Boulevard.

The westbound Highway 40 service road will be closed between Devonshire Road and Alexis-Nihon Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

In the La Prairie sector, 2 lanes out of 3 will be closed on Autoroute 15 southbound, between boulevards Matte and Taschereau, from Friday 7 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

In addition, work will force the closure of 2 out of 3 lanes in both directions on Highway 15 every night from Sunday to Thursday until mid-October.
