A 55-year-old man was found lifeless in a home in downtown Montreal on Thursday morning.
Montreal police received a call around 8:30 a.m. regarding a man found unconscious in a home located at the intersection of avenue du Musée and rue Sherbrooke, not far from the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
The body of the 55-year-old victim bore marks of violence, authorities said. “The death was pronounced on the spot. It is therefore a suspicious death,” explains Jeanne Drouin, public relations officer at the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM).
Major Crimes investigators must travel to the scene to analyze the circumstances of the event.
