Several major road closures will take place overnight this week in Montreal, as part of the major repair project of the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel.
Highways 20 and 30 will be the most affected, but other sectors will also be affected.
To better plan your travels, the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has provided the following schedule for the week of October 9:
Night from Monday to Tuesday
• Complete closure of the entrance to Autoroute 20 westbound from Boulevard Armand-Frappier, from Monday 10:30 p.m. to Tuesday 5:00 a.m.
• Complete closure of the service road between the ramp leading to Highway 30 eastbound and the next entrance, from Monday 10:30 p.m. to Tuesday 5:00 a.m.
Night from Wednesday to Thursday
• Complete closure of Route 132 eastbound, between exit no. 85 on Boulevard Rolland-Therrien and the entrance from Boulevard Marie-Victorin, from Wednesday 10:00 p.m. to Thursday 5:00 a.m. Entrances to this section will be closed 30 minutes before the complete closure of the road.
Night from Thursday to Friday
• Complete closure of Souligny Avenue eastbound between Dickson and Honoré-Beaugrand streets, from Thursday 10:00 p.m. to Friday 5:00 a.m.
• Complete closure of the entrance ramp from rue des Futailles and rue Tellier, from Thursday 9:00 p.m. to Friday 5:00 a.m.
Night from Friday to Saturday
• Complete closure of exit ramp No. 4 – Montreal (downtown) / J.-Cartier Bridge on Highway 25 towards the South Shore, from Friday 10:00 p.m. to Saturday 7:30 a.m.
Night from Saturday to Sunday
• Complete closures in the Highways 20 and 30 interchange, from Saturday 10 p.m. to Sunday 9 a.m.
