On Friday 25 November, three meetings invite us to reflect on language, starting with the round table The meeting of sport and words. Authors James Hyndman, Anne Genest and Paul Ohl will bring these two worlds together by exploring the challenges of sports routine through their most recent books. Second stop: the round table presented by the Quebec Writers’ Federation, which brings together translators and authors (including Daphné B.) around the importance of translating English-Quebec literature into French and the influence of English-language literature and francophone on top of each other. We end the day with the Cabaret of languages, which will celebrate in the evening the art of translation and literature across a plurality of languages.
