This is what Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred hinted Monday evening about this rule put in place during the pandemic in order to reduce the duration of games.

“Both fans and players love him. Teams love him. I feel like (this rule) has a way to go, ”illustrated Manfred, after announcing the postponement to Tuesday of Game 3 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies, because rain.

The extension of this regulation requires the conclusion of an agreement with the Players’ Association.
