Linda Vinette, 61, missing since February 21, was found unresponsive in her vehicle this afternoon, after police established command posts to try to find her.
The sixty-year-old’s vehicle was seen by a citizen while it was parked on a street in Saint-Jérôme, not far from Côte-Parent park. “The missing woman was lifeless inside it. She was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead,” said the Sûreté du Québec.
Two command posts were established Tuesday by Sûreté du Québec investigators with the aim of gathering information that could advance the investigation into the disappearance.
Linda Vinette, a resident of Sainte-Sophie, was last seen on February 21 on Boulevard des Entreprises in Terrebonne, while she was driving a Kia Soul vehicle.
In the days following the disappearance, relatives of Linda Vinette took to social media to ask for the public’s help. The day of February 21 “promised to be completely normal”, we can read in particular, while Mme Vinette had gone to a dentist appointment in the morning.
