The contest of Miss World 2021 finally took place, after being postponed due to the pandemic. The hundred candidates paraded on Wednesday March 16 in Puerto Rico, at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, before the big winner was crowned: it’s finally Miss Poland, Karolina Bielawska, who won the coveted sash. Her first runner-up being Miss USA (Shree Saini) and her second Miss Ivory Coast (Olivia Yace). France, worthily represented by April Benayoum (Miss Provence 2020) was not far behind…
The first runner-up of Amandine Petit (Miss France 2021) has indeed climbed to the top 13. A nice performance that she celebrated on Instagram once the ceremony was over: “Thank you for everything !!! Too proud of this top 13 out of 100 candidates. A great birthday present!!! Come on I’m going to bed now and tomorrow bronze in the pool, I haven’t even bathed in a month in Puerto Rico“, commented the one who celebrated her 23rd birthday yesterday.
At a distance, April Benayoum was able to count on the support of the Miss France committee. Still on Instagram, Sylvie Tellier (general manager of the Miss France company) shared a photo of her Miss World evening, her “world cup”, spent with Clémence Botino (Miss France 2020), Diane Leyre (Miss France 2022 ) and Maëva Coucke (Miss France 2018).
