The singer-songwriter, who was to visit Quebec City on Thursday, Montreal on Saturday, and Saguenay on Monday, announced on Facebook that he was postponing his concerts for a few weeks. Thus, he will tread the boards of the Bell Center in Montreal on April 25, those of the Videotron Center in Quebec City on April 27, and that of the Théâtre du Palais Municipal in Saguenay on April 28.
In a written message, Mika thanked his fans for their wishes for a speedy recovery and for their patience. The Lebanese-American artist said he had to rearrange his touring schedule because he fell ill and needs time to recover. The musicians who accompany him are also affected.
Mika did not say if he had contracted COVID-19. One thing is certain, his illness prevented him from participating, last Sunday, in the variety of Star Academy.
