Musical comedy fans will be able to take advantage of this back-to-school event. Thursday, October 21, the Zénith de Lille will be the starting point for the tour of the musical “I am going to love you”, the show punctuated by the greatest titles of Michel Sardou.

This musical is already called Mamma Mia à la française. More than 50 paintings and 180 looks have been designed to honor the titles of Michel Sardou. Behind the scenes, the artists are preparing thoroughly: “As we start in 1962, at the time the tattoos weren’t necessarily the people of good family who wore them, it was rather the prisoners, so I have to hide all my tattoos at each show.“, explains Tony Bredelet, one of the actors of the troupe.

The journey began in the 1960s and spanned decades through several places such as the port of Le Havre, New York, Paris, Algeria and Ireland. The story tells the story of six friends, and their daily struggles. “With the breakups, the love stories, the children who are born, the people who die, we use Sardou’s songs to move the story forward” explains Serge Denoncourt, the director of the show.
