Micasso & Co | Beautiful and functional for little ones

Micasso & Co was born from the daily life of the parents of Franceska Dion and Marc-Éric Bergeron. Wanting to meet the needs of their two young daughters, they created their own line of silicone products for children.

Since the birth of her daughters, Franceska Dion has always been on the lookout for the best products for her little ones. However, she found that “that little extra” was missing so that the objects were really well thought out.

“I wanted products that often have a double or triple function, that stand out, that are useful, but also durable,” she explains. This is how the small family business, Micasso & Co, was born in 2021.

The brand offers feeding accessories, a teething mitt, bibs and placemats made of high quality silicone, with a sleek design and soft color and prints.

Suction bowl, divided suction plate, bowl with handles, straw and spout cup, learning glass, 2 in 1 learning cup for snack and liquid, children’s tableware has been designed to promote independence and the confidence of the little ones.

A quest that began when the couple’s oldest daughter had difficulty eating. “We wanted tableware that was fun for the child,” explains the co-founder. And it was mission accomplished. Their daughter found the pleasure of eating, as did other little ones, confirms Franceska Dion, who received several comments from satisfied parents.

A particularly popular product? Training spoons – which can follow the child for a long time – with a holed section to trap food, a section so the child can use it as a teething toy and also a spoon head to develop traction.

The Micasso & Co selection also contains long-sleeved bibs and bibs with integrated pouch placed at the right height to catch food. A product of which Franceska Dion is particularly proud since it did not exist elsewhere.

The brand evolves as Franceska and Marc-Éric’s daughters grow up. Their new item, the silicone artist placemat, is designed to stimulate the creativity of little ones, but also larger budding artists. It is intended to be practical with its large size and its compartments for storing paint, brushes, pencils or any other DIY materials.

Parents are also the priority for co-founders. The products have been designed to make family life easier by limiting (possible) damage and being compatible with the dishwasher or washing machine.
