Head for Miami, at the far eastern tip of Florida. What are Saturday nights like in this iconic seaside resort?

When the sun sets over Miami (USA), it’s the best time to go out on Ocean Drive, the city’s most famous avenue. In this art-deco style 1920s decor, you go out above all to be seen. At 8 p.m., head to Wynwood. 15 years ago, it was an abandoned industrial district. Its facades are today the playground of the most talented street artists in the world. That Saturday, the street-art museum organizes nocturnal open houses, for a live creation.

A strong Cuban influence

In Miami, the Cuban influence is very strong, right down to the plate. Cuban sandwich recipe? Ham, salami, cheese, pickles and “mojo” sauce, a mayonnaise with garlic, lemon, vinegar and spices. It was invented in Florida in the 19th century, by workers from Cuba. In Miami, 70% of the inhabitants have South American origins. On Saturday nights, in the Cuban district of Little Havana, we dance salsa until sunrise.
