Mélanie Maudran is today the happy mother filled with two boys, born of her marriage with the tennis player and coach Thierry Ascione. But the star previously dated an actor-turned-singer with whom she was already planning to start a family: Pierre Cosso. This is what the latter affirms in an interview in Paris here.
Invited by the magazine while promoting his album titled For a better world, Pierre Cosso took stock of his life and career. The opportunity for the artist revealed by The Boom 2 to talk about his personal life. Settled in Polynesia (precisely in Tahiti) with his new companion Rautea since 2007, he previously had brief romances with Sophie Marceau and Zazie but also with the former Miss France and actress Nathalie Marquay or even with actress Mélanie Maudran. “It was a very strong story. We decided to travel the world together. She wanted to leave everything, have a baby. We left on December 31, 2022 from La Grande Motte to Porquerolles. But for her, it was a nightmare. She was sick. We separated“, he revealed in the pages of the magazine.
The ex-couple had met thanks to the cult series Under the sun, Pierre Cosso (60) playing the character of Serge Guérin, and Mélanie Maudran playing Lucie Valanski. Subsequently, the actor has “changed lifeand, in 2003, after touring his hit show ladies night, he decides to cross the Atlantic. He began a life as a sailor and, since then, he has had happy days in Tahiti, on dry land, after having lived on his boat for 15 years! He is the father of three children: Lino (17 years old, born from a previous story), Noa (10 years old, born from his current story) and Lucas (21 years old, born from a brief romance and recognized late).
As for Mélanie Maudran, just after the end of her relationship with Pierre Cosso, she resumed her career and we could thus see her in the series Frank Riva with Alain Delon. Since then, she has multiplied the projects and, from 2018, she has integrated such a big sun.
