Meghan Markle reappears in evening dress: she brings out her pretty bracelet inherited from Diana

Meghan Markle’s pretty jewelry collection includes several pieces inherited from this mother-in-law she will never have known: Lady Diana. Out with Prince Harry – and his mom! – On Saturday, to receive an award at the NAACP Image Awards, the Duchess of Sussex appeared radiant in her blue dress by Christopher John Rogers. The opportunity for the 40-year-old former actress to bring out Diana’s golden blue stone bangle.

The jewel had already been entitled to several remarkable releases since it had its place in Meghan Markle’s (well-stocked) jewelry box: it appeared on her wrist for the first time in the fall of 2018, during her first royal trip with Prince Harry to Australia. We then saw it at the start of 2019, when the Duchess of Sussex was pregnant with her son Archie and took part in a Cirque du Soleil performance in London, in a magnificent midnight blue sequined dress. (see slideshow). After the birth of her son, Meghan Markle took out the bracelet for her return from maternity leave in September 2019, still in London.

The Duchess of Sussex therefore took the bracelet with her for her new life in California, far from the monarchy, which she started two years ago. She has other jewelery inherited from Lady Di, including a pair of butterfly earrings and a cocktail ring with a large aquamarine, first worn at her wedding reception to Harry in May 2018 But perhaps the most valuable are the diamonds adorning her engagement ring created by her husband Prince and which also belonged to the Princess of Wales.
