Meghan Markle and Harry worried about their safety: the couple plans to move

Upon their departure from the United Kingdom and the monarchy, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry settled in Canada. From then on, the couple got very seriously involved in the search for their new cozy nest in California. The parents of Archie, 3, and little Lilibet, 1, had set their sights on a huge mansion in the very upscale neighborhood of Montecito, where a few years later they recorded their scathing interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The places made them happy but according to the DailyMail, the mansion would no longer suit the expectations of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Despite the many rooms, the huge garden and the cozy side of the house, the Sussexes plan to leave this mansion. The reason ? They would no longer feel safe there. This summer, the Montecito neighborhood was reportedly the target of numerous burglary attempts. Twice, the mansion of Meghan and Harry would have been visited. If surveillance cameras have since been installed, the Duke and Duchess do not want to take any risks.

Meghan and Harry have even already found their future home according to Santa Barbara News Press. They would like to settle in Hope Ranch, where daily life would be much quieter and monitored. The luxury residence would include a country club, a golf course, several tennis courts and horse riding tracks. Something to delight Meghan and Harry whose children will be able to practice sport as they please and above all without danger.

Meghan Markle and Harry have never hidden the importance of their security and their peace of mind. This detail had also been the cause of differences with the royal family. When leaving the latter, Harry had asked that the security of his wife and children be paid for by the British taxpayer each time they came to the territory to obtain the best of services. A request refused by the monarch Elizabeth II.
