The deputy of the National Rally of Gironde, Edwige Diaz, and the deputy Nupes of Val-de-Marne, Louis Boyard, were the guests of the “4 Truths” of France 2, Tuesday, June 21.
Two days after the second round of the legislative elections, Edwige Diaz, 34-year-old National Rally deputy, and Louis Boyard, 21-year-old Nupes deputy from Val-de-Marne, both newly elected, were the guests of the “4 Truths” from France 2, Tuesday, June 21. New face of the RN, Edwige Diaz confides that she does not recognize herself when we speak of her as being “far right”. “I don’t feel concerned at all. I would even say that it is our political adversaries who are trying to stick this label on us”explains the one who calls herself a “marinist” and not a “lepeniste” and does not intend to be the “Emmanuel Macron’s crutch” on the text concerning purchasing power.
Louis Boyard is one of the youngest members of the National Assembly. As a law student, he discovered his vocation in politics when he was 17 years old. A block of asbestos had just fallen into a classroom. As the students were asked to return to the room “as if there were no danger”, “we said ‘no'”, explains the young deputy on the set of “4 Truths”. Today, when he arrives at the National Assembly, it is first and foremost to his territory that he wants to be accountable. “People expect to have elected officials who are close to them and who are able to move local issues to directly change their lives”he believes.
