Miami, its azure blue sky, its beaches as far as the eye can see and… its (temporary) Formula 1 circuit. For the first time in its history, the Florida megalopolis welcomes the fastest single-seaters in the world for a Grand Prix, Sunday May 8. An event, of course, but which should not prevent the two bosses of this season, the leader Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and his runner-up Max Vertsappen (Red Bull), from competing for the first places and garnering valuable points in the championship.

The Monegasque will also start in the lead, ahead of his teammate Carlos Sainz, who offers himself a front row for the second time in his career. Behind the red double, the second row will be 100% Red Bull. Due to an error in his last attempt, the Dutchman Max Verstappen could not take second place and will start in 3rd position, alongside Sergio Perez. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) will start from 6th place, ahead of Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri-Honda). At the wheel of his Alpine-Renault, Esteban Ocon will start in last position, after having smashed his car during free practice.
