(Montreal) A woman lost her life following a collision involving two vehicles in the municipality of Saint-Narcisse, in Mauricie.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon on Highway 359.
According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), three women in their seventies are involved in the incident.
The driver of the first vehicle was seriously injured and is in stable condition. The passenger is hospitalized in critical condition and is fighting for her life.
The driver of the second vehicle succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. She was alone in her car.
Route 359 in the Saint-Narcisse sector remains closed and a bypass has been put in place for traffic.
A Sûreté du Québec accident investigation re-enactmentist is on site to understand the exact causes and circumstances surrounding this fatal collision.
